ETI Simulation: datacenter network cabling and certification

DataRoad has been chosen for another project in the area of computer network and cabling installation with a view to the physical relocation of servers and the installation of new network points at ETI Simulation & Engineering.

Computer cabling installation work carried out:

• Complete implementation of Category 6 computer cabling, installing approximately 7,000 metres of new cable and replacing floor boxes, with the installation of network and electricity;
• Installation of electrical distribution board for the Data Centre area, with separation per rack;
• Installation and connectorisation of 42U racks;
• Installation of around 128 CAT6 Gigabit network points throughout the office with cable routing to the area for the new cabinet;
• Certification of the installed CAT6 Gigabit cabling and computer network;
• Certified and specialised team in the field of computer network installation and configuration;
• Relocation of computer network points and installation of new network points;
• Installation and connection of three racks, two for communications and one for servers.

Computer network and electrical network installation services carried out outside the company's normal operating hours.
